When the CPU is idle, a good temperature is anything under or around 50C. Again, only use this as an indication of idle CPU temperatures - you should also check from within Windows 10 or Windows 11 to get a better idea of CPU temperatures when you're using the PC (see below). Once you're in the BIOS, you will see the temperature listed in the Hardware Monitor section, which can also be named PC Health Status or Status, among other similar names. Not all motherboards list the CPU temperature in the BIOS, but nearly all enthusiast or DIY motherboards do. On most platforms, you simply reboot the system and click delete or F2 repeatedly as it restarts. It's pretty simple to enter the BIOS to check your CPU temperature. That means you will see much higher temps when you are booted into Windows 10 or another operating system. You can check your CPU temperature in the system BIOS or UEFI, but be aware that this will only show your CPU temperature at idle. How to Check Your CPU Temperature in the BIOS Anything between 80C and 95C leaves room for improvement. You should be concerned if this figure is at or beyond 95C. The best way to check your CPU temperature while gaming is to game for an hour or more and then check the program to see the maximum recorded CPU temperature. Just be aware that this program puts an extremely heavy load on your PC, so you might encounter a blue screen of death (BSOD). However, if you want to measure the maximum possible temperature, you can check by running a Prime95 stress test for about 30 minutes ( download here) on Windows 10 or Windows 11. If you want to check your PC's CPU temperature during normal use, you can leave Core Temp running while you perform common tasks. So, for example, the CPU in the above image has had a minimum temperature of 32C and a maximum of 51C and is, therefore, running at a normal temperature. But we're more interested in the Min and Max columns, which show the absolute minimum and the absolute peak temperature recorded while the program runs. The left-hand side of the measurements shows the real-time temperature of each CPU core, and you can also see the measurements in the taskbar. Just be sure to untick the freeware option during installation.Ĭore Temp provides temperature measurements for every core in your CPU. This is a simpler tool that works with a more basic UI. You can also use the Core Temp tool, one of the best CPU temperature tools for Windows 11 and Windows 10, to monitor the temperatures ( download here). While CAM is intended to be used with NZXT's products, it works really well as a casual monitoring tool in Windows 11 or Windows 10, even if you don't have any NZXT hardware. You can use the software in Guest Mode to avoid creating a user account, and you can also disable the program from starting automatically with Windows if you don't plan on using it often. These are just a few examples of many, but we'll show you how NZXT's CAM and Core Temp work because our testing found that these two are the easiest to install and use. If you're overclocking your CPU and want more in-depth measurements, Intel's eXtreme Tuning Utility (XTU) and AMD's Ryzen Master software are designed by the chipmakers and also offer expansive options. There are multiple CPU temperature monitoring programs to choose from, with the best tools for checking CPU temperature, including Core Temp, NZXT's CAM, AIDA64, HWiINFO, or HWMonitor. rmskin fileĥ.How to Check Your CPU Temperature in Windows 10 and 11Ĭhecking your CPU temperature is as easy as installing and using monitoring software and then reading the output, and you can use the same techniques to check your CPU temperature in Windows 10 and Windows 11. However, if the Ace or Two is in the Waste, care should be taken because removing a card can affect the order of the cards in the Stock, following initialization. It's always safe to place an Ace or Two into the Foundation from the Tableau. This is not to suggest that all possible moves should always be enacted, but if there is no good reason not to play a card, it probably should be played. Before a deal of the Stock, always verify that there are no useful moves that can be made. Here are nine tips on how to win at Solitaire: At any point during gameplay, the player has the option (found in the Menu) of resetting the game to the very beginning. The game continues until either all the cards are moved into the Foundation, in which case the game is won, or until the player decides to discontinue play, in which case the game is lost. An essential rule of the game is that only a King may be moved into a vacant column. When all cards are removed from a pile, its column is then empty. When the last card is removed from atop of a hidden card, it will automatically be brought into play by turning it face-up. The same restrictions apply when moving the free Waste card to the bottom of a pile. Still, the target card must be both next in rank to the top card being moved and of the opposite color. Within the Tableau, an alternate-colored ordered run or any length may be moved from the bottom of one pile to the bottom of another pile. A card may be moved from the Foundation to the Tableau so long as it's to a valid location. An Ace begins a new build while a next-in-rank for its suit extends a build. If it fits, the free Waste card or the bottom-most card in a Tableau pile may be moved to the Foundation. In total, 21 face-down (hidden) cards are dealt into the Tableau. Each column receives the same number of cards as its ordinal, only the bottom-most card of the column is facing-up. The columns in the Tableau can be numbered left to right from 1 to 7. The final 24 cards are placed face-down and squared in the Stock. When the game starts, 28 of the 52 playing cards of a standard deck are dealt into the Tableau. The goal of Solitaire Draw 3 is to build up all 4 suits in the Foundation, each in order from Ace to King. As well as the computer, it's now played on smartphones and tablets. After a version was included in Microsoft Windows 3.0 in 1990, the game became hugely popular. In 1987, a version of Klondike was released for the Macintosh, included in an 8-game suite of computerized games called Solitaire Royale. The game is rumored to have been created by Klondike prospectors. This version of Solitaire became well-known in the late 19th century as Klondike, around the time of the Klondike Gold Rush. From low to high, card ranks run in order from Ace, to Two, and so on up to the King. Both ranks and suits of cards are important. Klondike is played with a 52-card deck of standard playing cards. However, in practice, players win far fewer games due to wrong moves and because many of the cards are dealt face-down. For the 3-turn version, about 79% are said to be theoretically winnable. There are over 8x10^67 (8 followed by 67 zeros). In this version, Solitaire 3 cards (or Solitaire Draw Three), the Stock deals three cards at a time and allows for an unlimited number of passes. There are different versions of the game. Often, the game is simply referred to as Solitaire. Solitaire, also known as Klondike, is one of the most-known card game in the world. Finally, add some lines at the shoulders to show seam-lines, and lines to show folds at the armpits and in the crook of the tie. Two curved lines either side of the jacket breast to show the character’s arms, and carry on the main sketch down to the bottom of the canvas (see example 5 below). Its a simple process using a photo of you and a few optio. Add two triangles inside the jacket for the shirt, and then draw a tie shape beneath. Learn how to make yourself an Anime character in Midjourney (Tutorial for beginners using AI Art). Don’t forget to add the clothing above the shoulders to give dimension so it doesn’t appear the clothing is simply painted onto the character. I’ve given mine little triangle cut-outs for added interest. Next, add the jacket breast by adding curved triangular shapes outside the original V-shape. As the images below explain, first we’ll add a V-shape round the neck that overlaps a little at the bottom. Create a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N) above your other layers and name it “clothes1.” When sketching over the top of another sketch as we will do now, I prefer to use red so it is easy to differentiate. As the tutorial doesn’t specifically cover a male or female character, the clothing we’re going to add to the character will be fairly androgynous – a shirt, jacket and tie. Now we’re going to work on giving the character some clothing. Draw your layout on its own layer, above the white background layer, by creating a new layer (Ctrl + Shift + N) and call it “layout.” As you’ll see from the example layout below, an anime character will have a larger head than a realistically-proportioned character, and will have a thin neck. It doesn’t need to be anywhere near perfect at this point. In this case the layout is for a bust, or portrait, drawing, so you’ll be drawing the head shape, neck and shoulders. With any character sketch, the very first thing you’ll need to do is to draw a very rough idea of the layout. Step 1Ĭreate a New 800 x 800px canvas (Ctrl + N) with a white background, and you’re ready to begin. This tutorial is aimed at novices to the anime style. Alternatively, you will need to sketch your drawing onto paper and scan it in when we move on to the vector part in step 21. You will need a graphics tablet or digital drawing pad for this tutorial. Here we focus on the drawing side of it and creating a clean sketch, which we then render with vector to create a line art. This tutorial, and its second counterpart, will walk you through the process of creating a simple anime character bust from start to finish. The only way to prevent this behavior is to use the local or autolocal argument w/ redirect-private so OpenVPN does take that possibility into consideration, and why my suggestion to the OP worked. It just blindly binds the server/remote IP to the WAN (and for all I know, maybe that was it's intent all along). Apparently OpenVPN doesn't bother to consider whether the server/remote IP is already bound to another *local* network interface. That was until today and this issue of a socks proxy. And if we use redirect-private to regain access to the VPN gateway IP and it results in the server/remote IP being explicitly bound to the WAN (if unnecessarily), it was assumed no harm, no foul. But in the case of PBR where we do NOT want the gateway redirected and we use the pull-filter to ensure that doesn't happen, OpenVPN doesn't need to worry about the server/remote IP being routed into the tunnel, so it does nothing. In the case of using 'redirect-gateway def1', the behavior is a necessity to prevent the server/remote IP from being routed back into the tunnel. But in terms of behavior, it's doing what OpenVPN normally does when the 'redirect-gateway def1' option is specified it's binding the server/remote IP to the WAN. Frankly, even to this day I don't fully understand its purpose the OpenVPN documentation is essentially non-existent. And at the time, I believed it was essentially benign. One way to get it back is to use the redirect-private directive. But a side effect of the pull-filter (that we knew at the time) is that OpenVPN then refuses to provide us w/ a VPN gateway IP, which we still need to construct the routing policy table(s). I don't know why openvpn puts proxy's ip into main routing table as proxy is almost always meant to run locally.Ĭlearly the use of the pull-filter was the right decision, and the OpenVPN documentation now recommends it over other methods. Maybe it's worth to introduce new option in GUI, so this case is accounted. Any ideas? Similar problem is described here but more thoroughly. I managed to fix the problem by manually removing routing entries marked by red arrows, as a temporary solution. Quick investigation revealed a problem, proxy gets put in routing table thus making it unreachable. So the issue is as soon as VPN connection is established 172.16.1.3 (proxy) is not reachable any more from within a router and vpn is not working of course. Vpn client is configured to redirect traffic according to routing policy "From Source 192.168.1.0/24" which is secondary lan br1. Router's ip is 172.16.1.1 and 172.16.1.3 is different device connected over ethernet port to the router. My socks5 proxy was setup and ready on main lan br0, so I've added following line to custom config of vpn client: For example, the final link should look something like this.
